If you’ve watched these miniature cooking videos, you know how satisfying they are. You can’t look away. The sounds, the tiny details, the slow cooking process: it’s pure ASMR, and that’s exactly why these videos get millions of views.
Until recently, people made them with real miniature kitchen sets, and it took days to film one video. Now you can create them with AI. In this post, I’m sharing the exact prompt I use, plus the full workflow from idea to finished video.
If you came here from my video, the prompt is below with a copy button. Grab it, but please read the workflow too, because this one works a little differently from normal prompts.

Why This Prompt Is Different
Most AI prompts give you one image or one video. This one gives you a complete production package.
Instead of dumping everything at once, it works like a real video director:
- It asks who your audience is: Western viewers, or Pakistani and Indian viewers.
- It suggests 10 dishes that fit that audience.
- You pick a dish (or type your own).
- It breaks the recipe into realistic cooking stages. A simple dish might get 4 stages, while something like biryani might get 10.
- For every stage, it gives you three things: an image prompt, a motion prompt, and an audio prompt.
The audience choice changes everything. Pick the desi option and you’ll get a village courtyard, a mud stove, clay pots and bare hands. Pick the Western option and you’ll get a backyard setup, modern cookware and western plating. That’s what makes the videos feel authentic to the people watching them.
What You Need
- ChatGPT or Google Gemini to run the prompt and create the storyboard.
- An AI image generator to create the picture for each stage. ChatGPT and Gemini can both make images.
- An AI video generator that can turn images into video, such as Google Flow (Veo) or Kling.
- A simple video editor like CapCut to join all the clips together.

tep-by-Step Workflow
Step 1: Run the prompt.
Paste it into a new ChatGPT chat. It will ask you to choose an audience. Type A or B.
Step 2: Pick your dish.
It will give you 10 ideas. Choose one, or type any dish you like. For your first video, I’d suggest something simple, like samosa or pancakes. Fewer stages means less work.
Step 3: Get your storyboard.
ChatGPT will now write out every stage, each with its own image, motion and audio prompt. Save this somewhere. You’ll be using it for the next steps.
Step 4: Create the images.
Use the image prompt from each stage to generate one picture per stage. If your dish has 6 stages, you’ll make 6 images.
Step 5: Turn each image into a video clip.
Upload each image into your AI video tool and paste the motion prompt and audio prompt for that stage. This brings the scene to life, with oil sizzling, spoons stirring and ingredients dropping into the pot.
Step 6: Join the clips.
Open CapCut, add all the clips in order, and export. That’s your finished miniature cooking video.

Tips for Better Results
Keep everything consistent. The biggest giveaway of an AI video is when the pot changes colour between shots or the hands suddenly look different. To avoid this, generate all your stage images in the same chat, and upload the previous stage’s image as a reference when creating the next one.
Use start and end frames if your tool has them. Many AI video tools let you upload a starting image and an ending image. Use stage 1 as the start and stage 2 as the end, and the AI will create a smooth transition between them. Your video will feel like one continuous film instead of separate clips.
Don’t skip the audio. The sound is half of what makes these videos addictive. If your video tool doesn’t add sound, you can add free ASMR cooking sound effects in CapCut.
Start short. A 30 to 45 second video with 4 or 5 stages is perfect for Shorts and Reels. Once you’re comfortable with the process, try the bigger dishes.
Go local. If your audience is from Pakistan or India, the desi option works amazingly well. People love seeing their own food, like nihari or chapli kabab, made in miniature.
Label Your AI Videos
Just like with any realistic AI content, turn on the AI label when you upload on YouTube or Instagram. It keeps your account safe, and viewers don’t mind at all. They’re watching for the satisfying process, not because they think it’s a real tiny kitchen.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this prompt free?
Yes, completely free. Copy it and use it as many times as you want.
Can I make any dish, even if it’s not on the list?
Yes. When it asks you to pick a dish, just type your own. It works with pretty much any recipe.
Why does my food look too big or too small?
Scale is the trickiest part. If the food doesn’t look tiny enough, ask ChatGPT to rewrite that stage’s image prompt with “giant human hands next to tiny food” made more obvious.
How long does one video take to make?
Your first one might take an hour or so while you learn the process. After that, you can make one in 20 to 30 minutes.
